Prepare a clear enquiry for small solar panels and battery-inclusive off-grid kits.
Define what you are buying
State the model and wattage, quantity and whether you need a bare panel or a complete kit. Include destination and preferred delivery terms. Avoid comparing a panel-only price with a battery-and-controller kit price.
Ask for model-specific data
Request current dimensions, mass, voltage and current ratings, operating limits, cable specifications and connector type. For batteries, ask for nominal voltage, chemistry, usable energy and thermal limits. A company registration document is not a product certification.
Confirm shipping and documentation
Request packaging dimensions, carton quantities and available model-specific documents. If lithium batteries are included, ask your forwarder which transport documents and packaging are required for the selected route.
Record the agreed supply
Confirm lead time, payment terms, warranty scope and after-sales arrangement in the written quotation. None of these terms should be inferred from a catalogue photograph or the existence of a website.
